I grew up in France, Belgium, England and the United States but consider NYC home after spending most of the last 12 years there. I am currently based in Paris, France.
I started my career at W.B. Doner Detroit in 2005 with the travel behemoth, Expedia.com, as my first client and helped them market and communicate their latest suite of online booking tools (fare finder etc.).
Following this, I moved to NYC to join Havas Worldwide, working with GlaxoSmithKline to position and launch the new, innovative weight-loss drug, alli. We succeeded in both creating and building an online community of 5 million members within one year of launch, at a time when paid social did not exist. During my time at Havas, I also worked with the iconic American confection brand, Hershey's, on products like Hershey Bar, Kit Kat, Reese's, Twizzlers and Jolly Rancher. As part of the lead agency team in the global Havas network, my role required the development and training of marketing excellence practices across 20+ partner agencies during a rapid expansion period in the Americas and APAC.
Part of my experience at Havas included an18-month assignment at sister agency, BETC Paris, one of the most awarded agencies in the world. At BETC, I worked with Danone's global baby nutrition brands and their marketing teams based in Amsterdam and Singapore to create product communications across EMEA and APAC. I also helped pitch and develop a global repositioning and rebranding campaign for GANT, a leading European retailer.
Upon returning to New York, I left Havas for stints at AR Publicis and The Clinton Foundation before landing at WP Narrative, a small advertising start-up at the intersection of storytelling and technology. There, I served as head of strategy and business development, leveraging emerging platforms, technology and innovation to create meaningful communications for well-known brands like Showtime, Viacom and VISA Rushcard. The agency also worked with growing start-ups like Universal Standard and Santo Mezquila, trading work for equity.
Our work medaled across almost every major creative marketing and tech competition including SXSW Interactive, The Webby Awards, Cannes Lions Creativity, Clios and many more (see below).
I am currently pursuing my MBA at INSEAD and am the co-founder of elocance, a text to speech application that converts content to audio.
